[fw-db] Two MySQL database processes on ports 3306 and 3307

We are running two MySQL database processes on our server on port 3306 and
3307

Is it possible to connect to the two separate database processes on the same
machine using Zend Framework. Apparently the port number is being ignored
when using Zend_Db and PDO.

Can anyone confirm that there is a known problem with Zend Framework which
prevents us from being able to connect to database processes on different
ports of that it is possible it's just that we are doing it wrong?

We area also using both PHP 5.2.6 and PHP 5.2.9 on two separate
environments? Both running Zend Framework 1.5
