[fw-mvc] Multilanguage application and Zend_Application

Hi,

I am switching a multilanguage application developed prior to ZF 1.8 to
ZF 1.8.

For the multilanguage side i have on front end a custom route, with one
of the params been language/locale.

I am wondering into a ZF 1.8 application where is the best place to init
things as Zend_Translate with proper language/locale. On bootstrap this
is not possible since the dispatch process hasn't been started. So no
language param does exist at bootstrap level.

I guess into a preDispatch of a controller plugin...

There is any other proper way to do this ?
