[fw-mvc] Remove value attribute from dojo button

Hello,

I've been pulling my hair out trying to remove the "value" attribute from Zend Dojo Button or Zend Dojo SubmitButton elements. Neither the removeAttrib method nor explicitely setting the value = null have any effect. The problem is that IE notoriously displays the value of a button tag as the only content of the button instead of the HTML enclosed by the button tag, removing any Dojo goodness such as icons, so I would like to remove the unnessecary attribute. How?
