[fw-mvc] Creating a modular application with Zend Framework

Hi,

the past few weeks I've been experimenting a lot with Zend Framework
1.8+. I really love the new application module, but it was hard to
find info on how to do certain bits since I wanted to go "the modular
route". Thanks for the replies on my questions...

Based on my experiences, I've written down the steps I use to set up a
new modular ZF application and how certain functionality can be used.
