But shouldn't the data automagically be converted into the appropriate
data type? I don't want to worry about forgetting a parameter or
something - i just want to be the value to be an integer, if the
database says it's an integer - this reduces the effort of quoting etc
... and as far as i recall this used to work perfectly in one of the
earlier releases fof ZF.
