I figured something out... Took a combination of my own feed builder
and entry class and then over-riding the core Zend_Feed_Atom. Seemed
really excessive considering things work so easily if you use just the
entry class as exampled here:

But doesn't seem to be so easy if using the builders. Oh well; it got
there in the end! :-)
