I personally prefer the smtp transport method for sending mail, by default it contacts your localhost, so it is almost equivalent to using the sendmail transport method.

Hi.
I've just tried out the Zend_Mail functions for simple contact form.
During this work I noticed a strange behavior. If I use
Zend_Mail_Transport_Sendmail the "From:" header isn't set although I set
it up using the setFrom() method.
In var_dump() output of Zend_Mail instance, the header is set. But if I
send it, the "standard" from address, set by server, the script is
running on, is used :(
Can anybody help?
So long,
Holger
